Two candidates were selected among more than 20 applicants.
- The first one is Małgorzata Anna Dereniowska who holds a PhD in Philosophy from the Adam
Mickiewicz University in Poland. She is particularly interested
in Heterodox economics; Philosophy of economics; Democracy and
decision making; Environmental and climate ethics; Theoretical and
practical ethics; Sustainability; Moral pluralism, multiculturalism,
and globalization; Pluralism in social sciences. She will be at Greqam
starting in February 2014.
- The second is Paolo
Melindi Ghidi who holds a PhD in macroeconomics from the University of
Louvain in Belgium. He is particularly interested in Population
Dynamics, Economic Growth, Migration and Minorities, Economic
Implications of Population Aging, Redistribution and Social Policy
Issues. He holds at the moment a post doc in Louvain at the
Biogov unit and will join Greqam in September 2014.
